Our Children Against War

SCEAD Foundation will be hosting an event at Bangalore International Academy against all kinds of war, specifically nuclear warfare.

A large map will be presented, showing what happens after a nuclear device is detonated and it's effects on the surrounding environment for the following years. There will also be a papier-machê bomb on display made by the NGO's volunteers and local students.

International participants are going to help develop the project. Coming from Portugal, Taiwan, China, Czech Republic and Germany.

In collaboration with the student council of St. Joseph's College of Commerce working on the Peace project.The Peace project is a program dedicated to Hiroshima-Nagasaki day on 9th of August to remember the tragic effect of nuclear weapon. It’s a speech of peace all over the world provided by our volunteers and dignitaries. Also we will be organizing a signature campaign on this day in which the students will be signing in support of this campaign.

June/July 2013 Even though only one week has passed since I arrived in Bangalore, I can tell that my experience in SCEAD Foundation is and will be incredible. Everything in SCEAD is about children. Accordingly, all of my activities are focused on children and their progress and prosperity. It is a great pleasure to work with children and young boys and girls and impart my knowledge and skills to them. I teach them Ballet, History, Geography, English and Public Speaking. Their huge interest and happy faces compensate all the culture shocks I have had in India. In the next few weeks, I will also work in orphanages through the Foundation, and I am really looking forward to that experience. I hope that this experience will help me love better, for love is the most important thing in our lives. As Mother Teresa said - "It is not how much we do, it is how much love we put in that action".
