Livelihood & Economic Empowerment
SCEAD supports tribal families, particularly women and elderly community members, through livestock-based livelihood initiatives, training, and guidance. These programmes are designed to strengthen household income, self-reliance, and long-term economic security.

 Education & Child Development
We work to improve educational opportunities for tribal children through school support, learning activities, educational materials, awareness programmes, and initiatives that encourage children to remain connected with education.

 Health, Hygiene & Well-being
Health awareness programmes, medical support, hygiene education, preventive health information, and community health initiatives help tribal families better understand and respond to their health and well-being needs.

 Women & Elderly Empowerment
SCEAD places particular emphasis on women, elderly persons, and vulnerable families by supporting livelihood opportunities, capacity building, awareness programmes, and greater participation in community development.

 Livestock Care & Veterinary Support
We facilitate livestock health initiatives, including vaccination, veterinary support, animal-care awareness, and guidance for families dependent on cattle, sheep, and goats for their livelihoods.

 Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
We work with communities to address sanitation and hygiene challenges by supporting household toilets, awareness programmes, and improved practices that contribute to healthier and more dignified living conditions.

 Sustainable & Environment-Friendly Development
SCEAD promotes environmentally responsible development through tree planting, awareness, sustainable practices, and community participation, linking tribal development with the protection of local natural resources.

 Community Participation & Self-Reliance
Our programmes are developed with the participation of the communities themselves. We believe sustainable tribal development is strongest when local people are involved in identifying needs, implementing solutions, maintaining assets, and taking ownership of their future.

For the past 10 years , SCEAD Foundation has been bringing positive change to a tribal village in Bandipur, Karnataka . Their work has helped improve the lives of people through support in livelihood, education, health, hygiene, and agriculture . 1. Supporting Livelihoods 💼 To encourage self-sufficiency and income generation, SCEAD Foundation has taken multiple steps: Provided goats and poultry to help local families start small-scale businesses. Organized skill-building workshops for women, including sanitary pad-making and mosquito net-making sessions. SCEAD Foundation has been actively empowering tribal women through sustainable livelihood opportunities by providing training and materials to make reusable sanitary pads. For the past two years, this initiative has been running successfully across tribal villages, creating steady income for women who previously had limited employment options. The foundation supplies high-quality cloth, absorbent layers, and stitching tools, enabling women to produce safe, eco-friendly menstrual products. These pads are then sold within local markets and nearby communities, allowing women to earn a dignified income. The project has significantly improved menstrual hygiene awareness while fostering financial independence. Many women have now formed small self-help groups to scale production and sales.
