SCEAD offers international students and volunteers the unique opportunity of participating in Yoga Workshops conducted by Divya, an internationally certified yoga teacher, who specializes in the powerful practice of Kundalini Yoga.
As Indian Prime Minister said to the UN General Assembly "Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. This tradition is 5000 years old. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being."
Divya explains the esoteric and ancient yoga principles in a simple and lucid manner, walking students through the beneficial effects each exercise has on various systems in the body and mind.
It's a truly immersive experience for both novices and experts, in which participants practice several yoga asanas and kriyas that will energize the body and still the mind.

Energized after a session of Kundalini Yoga, International Music Band, "Massive Vibe Live" It's supposed to be fun!
Here’s what students have to say about the Yoga Workshop:
“My experience of training Kundalini yoga with Divya was very positive. She was a very helpful, happy and patient teacher. It was my first encounter with yoga and I found it relaxing and energizing. My favourite part of the class was deep relaxation at the end. I think practicing yoga is a great thing to do in the morning and I would like to continue doing it to see more long term effects. I can recommend yoga to everyone. It is worth trying and Divya's classes are a good place to do it.” Michal Marczynski POLAND
Divya has a beautifully open and welcoming vibe and this permeates her class. I enjoyed the chanting and the postures. Afterwards I felt invigorated and enlivened - and I look forward to doing another class" Craig Reynolds, UK
